Céline Razeau is co-owner of Back in Motion and she is proud of the service offered by all the professionals who make up the treating team. She hopes that the strong focus on client care, that is truly the backbone of the clinic, will be what you remember about your experience at Back in Motion should you ever require treatment. Céline graduated from the physiotherapy program at Queen`s University in Kingston in 1996. She started to practice in Cornwall that same year. She has chosen to continue to live and work in the community and is now raising her family here as well.
Céline has always been eager to keep her knowledge current by taking courses, attending seminars and keeping an eye to the current literature. In recent years, her continuing education has focused on expanding her knowledge and skills in women’s health issues such as pelvic floor physiotherapy, osteoporosis, and lymphedema care.
Céline attended the Royal Military College of Canada before beginning her physiotherapy training where she earned an honours degree in Economics and Commerce in 1992. Though she expected to have a long military career, she suffered a serious injury while at the college and was unable to serve in the military after graduating due to her injuries. However, while undergoing her own rehabilitation, she began to consider a career in physiotherapy. Once she began her courses at Queen’s and particularly in her clinical placements (where she was able to work with actual patients), she knew that she had found her niche.
