Shayne graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics in 2016. Born and raised in Cornwall, his interest in rehabilitation stems from his own experiences with injuries as a competitive soccer player, inspiring him to help others move more comfortably, overcome setbacks, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
He has experience working with clients of all ages in private clinics, hospitals, and sporting environments. He takes a collaborative and individualized approach to care, combining education, hands-on treatment, and tailored exercise programs to help patients achieve their goals. He particularly enjoys helping people return to sport and develop the strength, mobility, and confidence needed to prevent injury and maintain an active lifestyle over the long term.
Shayne continues to pursue professional development. His post-graduate training includes the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Program (Level 2), Dry Needling, Introduction to Vestibular Rehabilitation, the Mulligan Concept (Lower Quadrant), Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Lumbar Spine), TMJ Dysfunction, Active Release Techniques (Spine), and the Treatment and Prevention of Running Injuries. He is fully bilingual, and happy to serve you in English or French.
